Batuco is characterized by its Mediterranean climate with two very distinct seasons, one warm and dry (spring-summer) and the other cold and rainy (fall-winter). There is a wide temperature range, reaching over 20°C in summer, due to its altitude of 250 meters above sea level. It has a strong maritime influence, as its vineyards are less than 40 km from the Pacific Ocean.
Silky, long tannins with black fruit such as cherry and berries. Spicy on the nose, with aromas of black pepper and cloves.
It is recommended to drink at a temperature between 16°- 18°C.
Enjoy it with lamb dishes with sauces, roast pork, stews, pasta with sauces, tuna, and grilled chicken.
